A shopfront of painted wooden panels with sash windows. A shopfront sits at eye level, so every flaw shows: the panels were sanded smooth and finished in an opaque, dark shade.

Working on a shop in the centre means above all starting early. The front has to be clear again before opening time, so the work was done in stages.
